2024-2025 enrollment for rising 9th graders is still open! The lottery ran on Wednesday, February 28th at 3:30, however we still have some available enrollment spots.
2024-2025 Enrollment
Please complete the enrollment form by clicking on the Lotterease link below. Enrollment is now open for students that will be in the 9th grade for the 2024-2025 school year. After completing the enrollment form please read the details below for more information. If more students enroll than we have spaces available, and a lottery is required, it will be run on February 28, 2024. If a lottery is not necessary, all applications received in Lotterease will be considered for enrollment. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions at info@aspiretradehs.org.
For the 2024-2025 school year, only 9th grade students will be enrolled. Under the current plan, Aspire Trade High School will have at minimum a 60-day open enrollment period beginning in December of 2023 for the 2024-2025 school year. Parents will complete the enrollment process through a 3rd party site (Lotterease) that can be accessed from the Aspire Trade High School website. If there are more applications than seats available, a lottery will be conducted. Following verification of the lottery results, families will be able to view application status through the Lotterease website. Any families that require additional support with the enrollment process can request help by contacting the school directly.
Aspire Trade High School believes in the benefits of a diverse student body, and are committed to prioritizing a certain percentage of enrollment slots each year for students who qualify for free and reduced lunch.
Families may self-select to provide consent to be considered for the seats saved for economically diverse families. This is optional. If a family is selected for enrollment through the economically diverse portion of the lottery, they must provide supporting documentation of eligibility during the school’s enrollment process. If the family is unable to provide the documentation, the applicant will be placed on the general waiting list. No specific information about economic diversity will be obtained beyond eligibility and verification status, and the information will not be retained. The economic records you provide will not be held by the school.
Lottery Results:
If more students enroll than we have spaces available, and a lottery is required, it will be run in February 28, 2024. You will receive an email and text message if your child was selected, and an email if your child was waitlisted.
Once the lottery has been run, the Aspire Trade High School administrative team completes a verification process. Following the verification process, parents will be notified of their application status by email. If the parent is unable to receive email, the parents will be contacted by phone within 3 days of the lottery being verified. Parents of students who have been accepted will have 7 calendar days from the date they were notified by email or phone to formally accept or refuse the seat. If a response has not been received within 6 days, a reminder will be communicated to the family by email and phone call. If after 7 days there has been no response, the student will be moved to the bottom of the waitlist, and the spot will be filled with the first student on the waitlist.

Enrollment:
Once a student’s seat has been officially accepted, parents will receive instructions by email on completing the enrollment process through a 3rd party site (Enrollease). Prospective students of Aspire Trade High School will have 30 days to complete the enrollment process. If after 21 days, the enrollment process has not been completed, the school will contact the family to remind them of the deadline and offer assistance with the process.
If the enrollment process is not completed within 30 calendar days, the student will lose their seat and the next student on the waiting list will be contacted by email and phone. They will be given 30 days to complete the enrollment process. This cycle will continue until enrollment packages are received for every available seat. If enrolled students do not attend the first day of school a call will be made to the home to determine if the student will attend. If the student is not going to attend, a call will be made to the next student on the waiting list to give them an opportunity to enroll.
As spots at the school become available, the parent/guardian of the student will be contacted by email. If the parent does not have access to email and has specified that on their application, the school will mail a letter of acceptance to the child’s residence. A phone call will also be made to the parent notifying the parent of the student’s acceptance and applicable deadlines for return of enrollment paperwork. Every effort will be made to communicate promptly with all accepted families.
If a student applies for a seat in 9th grade on their application, but it is found that they no longer qualify for that grade (i.e. student is retained by current school, or is subsequently promoted by the current school to a grade other than that for which he applied, etc.), the student will be removed from the lottery and parents will be informed.

Information about Lotterease:
Parents, please be advised we will be using a third-party system, Lotterease, to run our enrollment lottery for transparency and fairness. Since Lotterease is an independent system, the school staff do not have the ability to manipulate or adjust the lottery outcome. In addition, all activity that takes place with your application is tracked in a history log that you can view at any time by logging into the parent portal.
After our open registration period closes, we will be uploading all applications into Lotterease. At that time, you will receive emails from Aspire_Trade_High_School@lotterease.com that an account has been created for you and your child(ren) and that they were entered into the lottery. You will be able to login to your account and change the password once it is created.
